By far the most traditional portuguese restaurant I've ever been, and I'm local!!! Chat with the owners and they will make you taste all the local dishes with a genuine smile

We loved this place, we were riding a bike and as we passed by we noticed that it was still open despite being late, they served us. I think it's good that they only accept cash that way the local economy is more solid without depending on the bank or expensive cash is king transaction fees Fatima, the chef, spoke Spanish very well served us!! Everything fresh

We were staying at the Douro Royal a few years ago - disappointed with the food we went looking for a neighbourhood restaurant and found this one. Fantastic service and food and we were extremely delighted. By far the best restaurant around!

We had lunch here, a simple Portuguese meal. And that was actually something we were looking for. We had fish from the local river and chicken legs. The house wine was excellent! There is a very nice view on the river when sitting outside on the patio.
